Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Lumeinit (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you're using Lumeinit on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Service
Lumeinit provides a workspace for gathering source materials, conducting AI-assisted research, and publishing product content to third-party systems. Specific features, limits, and integrations are described on our Pricing and Features pages.
We may change, add, or remove features. We'll give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paying customers.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for activity under your account, and for the accuracy of information you provide. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
You retain all rights to the sources, drafts, and other content you upload or create in Lumeinit ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you.
You are responsible for having the rights to upload Your Content and for ensuring it complies with applicable law.
AI outputs
Lumeinit uses third-party AI models to generate drafts, summaries, and other outputs. We don't guarantee the accuracy of these outputs. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it. Claims, citations, and recommendations should be independently verified for high-stakes use cases — including but not limited to legal, medical, regulatory, and safety contexts.
Acceptable use
You may not use Lumeinit to: violate any law; infringe intellectual property; upload malicious code; attempt to reverse-engineer the Service; resell or repackage the Service without a reseller agreement; generate content designed to deceive, defame, or harass; or generate content that sexualizes minors or depicts non-consensual sexual acts.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Payments & subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Monthly plans can be canceled anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
Third-party services
Lumeinit integrates with third-party services (Shopify, Notion, AI model providers, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their terms, not ours. We're not responsible for their performance or policies.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your workspace settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that pose security, legal, or operational risk.
After termination, workspaces remain read-only for 30 days so you can export your data. After that, we delete the data within the timelines described in our Privacy Policy.
Warranties & disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumeinit's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to these Terms
We'll notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
